Personal Description:

My name is Ally . I am a professional session drummer and teacher based in the North East of England.

I am a young and enthusiastic musician and educator with over 10 years of experience at the highest level, teaching, gigging and recording. I have a passion for all things music especially when it comes to sharing and inspiring other players.

I have had the pleasure of playing with lots of world class musicians / Artists in my career so far. Some of the names I have played with or continue to play with are: George Clinton (Funkadelic), Murray Head, Phil Palmer (George Michael, Dire Straits, Tina Turner) Kokomo, Penguin Cafe Orchestra, Tony O’Malley (10cc), Ben Poole, Alan Darby (Eric Clapton) and many more

I also have a 1st class honours degree from the Academy Of Contemporary Music and also hold a full enhanced DBS check.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 10 + years of teaching experience in many different scenarios including:

- Large group lessons/workshops (all ages and abilities)

I enjoy teaching all ages and abilities and will cover various different formats such as 1-to-1 lessons, large groups, people with learning difficulties. I offer high quality tuition in all popular styles and am able to teach all graded exams from 1-8 and above whether it be the Rock School or Trinity syllabus.

Tutoring Approach:

I am a relaxed teacher but also very passionate about learning and helping others to achieve their goals. I tend to tailor my lessons to each individual as I know every person has their own process for learning. I still require passion and commitment from my students in order to achieve their goals.
