Member of the Independent Society of Musicians, European Piano Teachers Association and Curious Piano Teachers. Up to date DBS certificate.
I currently sing with the Bournemouth Bach Choir, play tenor horn (which I took up during lockdown) with Vintage Brass, and accompany Highcliffe Castle Choir.
Tutoring Experience:
Professional piano teacher with decades of experience. Now specialising in adult beginners and returners. No upper age limit!
Tutoring Approach:
I particularly enjoy teaching adults who have always wanted to play the piano but never had the opportunity, or who learnt for a while as youngsters and are now sorry that they gave it up!
I tailor tuition to each student.
I am not exams-focussed.
My students say that I am kind, patient, encouraging and thorough.
