Information About Alexandra - Battersea teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Alexandra:
Alexandra is a Classical Soprano who has studied under Sandra Dugdale and Thomas Schulze at the Royal Northern College of Music for the past six years. As a performer herself she has first hand experience of the difficulties and challenges a performer faces when learning to sing. Drawing on many years of observing and learning from the best at a prestigious conservatoire she aims to help all her students to reach their singing goals.
Alexandra is an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher with a variety of experience in one - to -one teaching and leading workshops. Having worked for the BBC Radio 4 Daily Service in both their classical services and as part of their acoustic band, Alexandra has a broad knowledge of a range of music styles and is able to teach genres from classical and musical theatre to acoustic and pop music.
Alexandra's approach to music tuition is to first have a consultation lesson. This is a lesson where the client can discuss what they aim to achieve from the singing lessons. It will be a shorter lesson where the client can get a feel for the type of lessons Alexandra gives. It is also an opportunity for Alexandra to assess the learning style of the client and to subsequently taylor her lessons so that they are the most productive and enjoyable.
If the client wishes to pursue regular lessons in due course, then each individual client will receive bespoke lesson planning that will aim to improve their confidence, singing technique, musicianship and performance skills as well as their own specific goals.
Singing is meant to be fun and bring joy to those around you. Alexandra is passionate about helping anyone improve their voice, from those who are just beginning to sing to those who have been singing for many years and want to brush up on their skills.
