Information About Albert - Northampton teacher
This is how 4 referees rated Albert:
I am originally a classically trained pianist who went through all the grade exams while at school. I have passed grade 5 theory of music therefore and can offer this discipline. I now play the keyboard in a variety of function bands, have performed background music at weddings and taken on the role of musical director for many amateur musicals and pantomimes.
I started teaching with the ACAM music school in Northampton in 2007, having previously taught a small number of local pupils piano.
After receiving training at Yamaha HQ in Milton Keynes for group keyboard lessons I was teaching up to 10 students in small group lessons.
I have entered students for the ABRSM piano exam syllabus and Trinity Guildhall keyboard syllabus as I know these inside out.
I try to incorporate a range of activities into my lessons, from note reading interactive apps on ipads to listening exercises. A typical lesson may involve a warm up with scales or hand drills followed by technical work on pieces and then a combination of listening exercises/sight reading or note reading games to finish.
