Personal Description:
I recently graduated from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, completing a Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours in Performance. I have experience performing in operatic productions and on the concert platform in recitals and oratorio. More information about myself is **E-mail Address Removed**
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching singing and music theory for four years, teaching both children and adults. I specialise in classical singing, but love teaching music theory, musical theatre and more! Each student’s experience is tailored to their specific needs; while I believe working towards ABRSM and Trinity examinations are valuable to a student’s development, I also enjoy teaching students that just want to learn four fun! I have an enhanced DBS and have experience in taking ABRSM theory and singing exams myself, putting me in a sympathetic and informed position as a teacher.
Tutoring Approach:
I tailor each class to my student’s needs. I will initially get and idea of the student’s abilities, and begin to ‘fix’ any problems at their root. This being said - I try to keep my classes as fun as possible, and encourage my students to bring me music they want to sing!
