Personal Description:
Violet -a music tutor who has been teaching music since 2013.
I started learning the piano when she was 6 years old. During her teenage time, she studied music as one of the major in International Christian Quality Music Primary and Secondary School.
Violet accomplished the ABRSM Grade 8 piano at Year 10.
In 2012/2013, I studied hotel management at Griffith University. I kept on piano study for 2014 ATCL Recital exam from her piano instructor-
Mr Ho Ka Wing. During thefinal yeat study, it is proud that Violet was sent to be one of the awardee representatives by Chinese University of Hong Kong School of Continuing and Professional Studies (CUSCS) and awarded as Talent Development Scholarship by HKSAR.
After graduated, I started her music career. She experienced in teaching different aged group students, including children and teenagers( KS1-KS4), adults. Some of the piano students attained the Hong Kong Inter-School Music Festival and awarded prizes.
Since 2014,
I was used to be an active trumpeter in Hong Kong Civil Aid Service (CAS) Band.
I performed in different local public Hong Kong events and also she has performed in Taiwan
In 2015, I also received an award from the CAS band as the "Best Progress Member of the Year".
Also, I participated in the Hong Kong Wind Ensemble (HKWE).
During 2017 December and 2019 summer,
I especially had intensive learning from the
Czech trumpeter- Mr Alexandr Smutný in Prague to strengthen her trumpet technique.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching for 7 years in Hong Long.
I teach both classical and pop music.
And for instruments,
I mainly teach piano, trumpet and also music theory.
Sometimes I would have accompaniments and aural lessons to those who are ready for ABRSM examinations as well. My students including children and adults.
Tutoring Approach:
I am a patient and cheerful teacher who like teaching in varied interactive and interesting ways. I would like to inspired students creativity and strengthen their listening skills too.
Different teach methods applied which create positive learning and encouraging students to achieve themselves.
