Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Tom and I am a 21 years old. I live in Ringwood and am currently pursuing a career on YouTube but would also love to add cello teaching to that list. I have been playing the cello for 12 years and am ready to start sharing my experience with others.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught a few private students before and have only had positive feedback. I would love to get more experience in teaching even though I feel very confident already.

Tutoring Approach:

I am passionate about helping young people enjoy playing music, particularly sticking with classical instruments. When I was younger I wanted to give up the cello for the guitar because I thought it was cooler! I am extremely glad I didn’t as it has opened so many opportunities for me like playing with the Hampshire Youth Orchestra and playing in various musicals for The Mayflower Theatre. My mission is to make young people see the cello for what it is… a cool and desirable instrument.
