Personal Description:

Sean grew up surrounded by music and playing in Youth Jazz Bands and Orchestras
He studied with his mentor the Legendary UK Drum Teacher Bob Armstrong, covering a large drumming repertoire including Sight Reading and Technique, Rock, Pop, Jazz, Latin and Advanced Drum Studies.

Sean went on to record and tour as a professional drummer for numerous acts & record labels.
Sean’s drumming career has taken him around the world from TV Studios to Stadiums across the Atlantic to the Albert Hall.

Career highlights involve work with Tom Jones, Black Sabbath, The Ministry of Sound Dance label, Appearances on Top of the Pops ( UK ) to the Aresnnio Hall Show ( US ) as well as Several Large US and European Tours. TV Music and Theatre Shows & more recently Madrid Stadium with his own Live Band.

Sean also writes music and is published by BMG Music.

Sean teaches from his professional home studio in Norfolk.

Tutoring Experience:

Sean teaches from his own Private Drum Studio near Norwich.
Sean has been teaching alongside his professional role as touring and recording dummer for over 25 years.
Students range from absolute beginners to advanced Grade 8 level players who are preparing for advanced education.
Sean also enjoys working with some educational institutions teaching students with special requirements.
From Beginners to Advanced Players. Currently Sean’s youngest student is 8 and his oldest is 70.

Sean's teaching style is one to one based in his home studio.
Individual learning pathways are created for each student based on their ability and goals.
Every student is different and may want different things from the drums so it's important to Sean to achieve the right mix of guidance, lesson material and support.
