Personal Description:
I am a multi-instrumentalist (Guitar, Drums and Bass) and am looking for new students for either instruments.
I've been a musician all of my life, grew up listening to a lot of Rock and Metal music. Spent most of my school days in the music room with my at the time band just playing music and being creative.
I'm currently studying music in Brighton even though I'm London based.
Tutoring Experience:
Currently have one guitar student, however I've taught a bass student in the past month.
Looking to get new clients and help musicians get to where they want to be and help them along the way.
I haven't had any drum students yet, but if you have a kit and would like me to teach you, let me know!
Tutoring Approach:
Always best to know what stage you're at in your playing. So would be easiest for me to know where abouts you're at in your playing when you play me a song that's comfortable for you to play. Even better if you play me a song that's a bit more challenging for you to see what your goals are and techniques you want to learn.
Depending on your music abilities. I like to teach interesting guitar chords and riffs, how to read tab, guitar parts in different time signatures and how to understand time signatures, different techniques of bending and vibrato, etc. I can also teach different techniques of harmonics, scales, modes.
Also, don't hesitate to ask me about something you want to learn and I'll plan a lesson on it for you.
Bass will be mainly focused on beginners, so basic bass riffs and progressions, using both fingers and pick, Playing bass in different genres, different bass techniques, etc.
Drums I will be focusing on the different parts of the kit, playing in time, playing to a click, playing a simple drum beat / groove, playing in different time signatures, ghost notes, playing in triplets, drum fills, swung and straight rhythms. Preparing a track to play before hand will give me a good idea of what difficulty you're at in your playing and what needs to be worked on.
