Personal Description:
I am an experienced instrumental, theory and composition teacher offering lessons in clarinet, piano, saxophone, flute and theory. I regularly perform at concert venues around the world including Royal Albert Hall, Barbican, and Arthur Zankel Music Centre in New York. I achieved a 1:1 at Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Royal College of Music, and hold several awards and scholarships to my name, including the Gilllian and Martin Award, HMUK Transmissions Award and the Royal Philharmonic Society Instrumental Award.
Tutoring Experience:
I have 10 years experience in teaching a vast variety of students: ranging from ages 3 to 80 and everywhere in between, from complete beginner to advanced students.
Tutoring Approach:
My aim is to nurture each student to help them further understand and experience the joy of music-making. No matter what level the learner is, I believe music can develop people's approach to aural skills, self-discipline, technical understanding and overall musicality.
