Personal Description:
I am a music composer, sound designer and pianist who has 8 years of professional experience. Throughout my career I have composed for films, dance and advert campaigns performing on acoustic piano, synth instruments and sound design softwares. I have composed for media and advertising campaigns such as Adidas Football and BBC 3.
Tutoring Experience:
I have 7 years experience teaching in both private and institutional settings. I assisting in lecturing film music in Zurich University of the Arts and Reid School of Music, Edinburgh. I also lectured in film music and audio production in Demetra Formazione and Ater Formazione in Italy.
Private students have ranged from primary school students to mature adults and range in all levels.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach is flexible, based on the needs of a student. For music composition, theory and piano, I utilise classical conservatoire training along with practical professional experience.
Likewise with music production, both theory and practical methods are explored to ensure students develop with well-rounded skills.
The primary softwares I teach on are Logic Pro X and Sibelius.
I teach both in English and Italian.
