Personal Description:
I am a professional violinist currently based in London, and currently on trial as Associate Concertmaster with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London UK and also as Leader of the Scottish Ballet Orchestra, having recently also worked in the Orchestra de la Suisse Romande in Geneva, Switzerland, English Chamber Orchestra(UK).
I have studied in institutions including Mozartuem Salzburg (Austria), Haute ecole de la musique lausanne, Geneva(Switzerland). My professors in the past include Svetlin Roussev and Pierre Amoyal.
Tutoring Experience:
I am experienced in teaching all levels from beginners up to Music University level in UK, Hong Kong, Switzerland.
With my help, my students have succeed in obtaining their goals, from achieving high grades in their violin/viola/piano/theory ABRSM exams, successfully auditioning for their School Orchestras and gaining Music Scholarships, to admission for Music University/College.
I offer both in-person and online Zoom lessons. I can teach in English, Chinese (both cantonese and mandarin) and French!
Tutoring Approach:
Whether you are seriously pursuing Music, working towards an exam goal or just an enthusiastic music-lover, I believe that teaching should be a joy and inspiration for both teachers and students, no matter our age or cultural background and that music is the best source of creativity!
