Information About Matthew - Leeds teacher

Personal Description:

Matt is an experienced bassist and guitarist, with over a decade of touring and recording work along with a masters degree in music management a Bachelors in Popular music and a grade 8 in guitar.

Tutoring Experience:

I have engaged with one on one music tuition on and off over the last decade. Having taught both young children who have never held an instrument to adults who want to find a new passion in life.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that music tuition should be student led. Rather than making practise feel like homework, I want to teach my students 'How to Practise' so that the time spent in lesson hours energizes my students to have the knowledge to tackle their mistakes at home. This involves focusing on music that the student wants to learn and find real enoyment from their instrument.
