Personal Description:

I am a singing teacher in Nottingham. I give voice lessons as an in-training Speech Level Singing instructor (Pre-cert). I am looking to certify as Level 1 in August. Speech Level Singing is an amazing technique that really does get voices in shape incredibly quickly, and can take any voice further than it has gone before. Tutoring Approach:

My philosophy is that the art of making music is no different than speaking a language. If you have learned to speak a single word in just one language then you can learn to make music. My philosophy is built upon having an ‘uncoloured’ approach to making music, not just as a singing teacher. Every person’s voice is unique, and everyone has their own thing to say. My job is to educate you to say what you want, without thinking, using your instrument – your voice.

I am here to teach you how to have a connection with your instrument that is free of clutter and over-thinking; a connection that is immensely enjoyable, utterly instinctual, and that will last a lifetime.
