Information About Magdalina - Paddington teacher

Personal Description:

I am a Bulgarian violinist based in London… I have been playing the violin for 17 years and throughout that time, I have had the chance to gain experience as a solo performer, as well as orchestral and chamber musician. Currently I am an undergraduate student at the Royal Academy of Music studying violin performance under the tutelage of Prof. Gyorgy Pauk.
For the 3 years I have been at the Academy, and in London, I have had the chance to work with some of the top musicians and conductors, as part of orchestral projects and chamber ensembles.
Prior to my studies at the Academy, I was studying violin at the National School of Music "Lyubomir Pipkov" in Sofia, where I graduated High School and did my Professional Qualification Diploma. During my time at the school, I attended numerous masterclasses and national and international competitions in Bulgaria and throughout Europe. Those included violin solo, as well as chamber music and music theory competitions.
I am an active and enthusiastic solo, chamber and orchestral musician and performer.

Tutoring Experience:

I gained most of my experience while working on my Professional Qualification Diploma, because as part of the course we had to work with children from all ages and give them private and open lessons. Throughout the years I have been giving priva**Contact Detail Removed**ssons, mainly to children, but I am most certainly open to teach to adults. As well as that, I have experience as a practice tutor as well.
At the Academy, I take the "Open Academy" course, which works with Primary Schools and Kindergartens across London. As part of the course, we take part in music concentrated workshops specially created for kids, where the aim is to broaden their knowledge and hopefully inspire them to take up music.
As well as that we attend lectures from acclaimed music workshop leaders.

Tutoring Approach:

The first step with any teaching opportunity, would be to establish the level of the student. From then on, my teaching approach varies, as I find it very important to personalise it depending on what the student needs.
I am enthusiastic to pass on my love for music to others, and especially to the younger generation!
