Personal Description:

I am an enthusiastic and professional Kit Drummer and African Percussionist. I am a skilled performer and teacher. Whether gracing a stage in front of thousands of people or tending to an absolute beginner in a teaching environment, I always bring my vast experience with me to whatever situation I may encounter. I constantly strive to learn a keep my own abilities in pace with the times.

Tutoring Experience:

I teach large African Percussion Workshops as well as one to one tuition on percussion and drum kit. My areas of performance and teaching are: Jazz/Afro-Beat/Rock/Experimental/Latin/Pop/Ambient/African Drumming

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to teaching is entirely holistic and based on the needs of the student. I take great care to understand what my students hope to gain from their study of drumming. I strive to know what music they apire to and give them fundamental grounding in their passions whilst at the same time teaching broader fundamentals that will allow them to be flexible in the wider world.
