Information About Klaus - Muswell Hill teacher

Personal Description:

I am a professional songwriter, singer, composer and guitarist based in North London. I have been working professionally for over 20 years in various aspects of the creativity and performance. I began by playing guitar and singling in bands and then was able to combine my love of singing with acting and was in various west end and national touring shows most notably playing the role of Buddy Holly in the long running West End show 'Buddy.'

As a musician and multi instrumentalist I have been able to diversify and enjoy a career composing, performing and producing music. I have written songs and incidental music for BBC, ITV Sky and Channel 4. My original songs have been recorded and performed by Hamish Stuart (Average White Band), Jocelyn Brown (Somebody Else's Guy), and Ciaren Jeremiah (The Feeling).

I currently run a community choir as well as my one to one singing teaching, and guitar teaching.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught guitar and bass at Harrow College, and performance at St Edmunds in Hertfordshire and Palmers Green high School in Winchmore Hill. I also ran the Bexley Community choir at the 2012 Torch Ceremony for the London Olympics. I headed up the teaching team at Bexfactor in Bexley, a council led scheme to nurture talented young people through a series of instrumental tuition, group performances, songwriting and production.

Due to my experience my expertise in teaching focuses on pop, blues, jazz.

My teaching style is always encouraging and proactive. I believe in ABC - Always Build Confidence, and most importantly that we never stop learning and developing our skills and our experience.
