Information About Kieran - York teacher

Personal Description:

I'm a piano teacher with 35 years of experience. I teach every level from complete beginner right through to Diploma standard. I am very versatile and can teach across a wide range of styles ranging from Classical music to Jazz and Pop.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught privately on a one-to-one basis since 1985. I have also taught at a number of schools and colleges. I am currently employed as a piano teacher by St John's University in York.

Tutoring Approach:

Essentially my teaching is student centred. Whether you're interested in rock and roll, classical music or jazz or simply want to learn how to play your favourite piece of music, I will adapt to your needs. Most students just want to learn to play for their own pleasure. Some want to take the grades and pursue a more academic path. I will tailor your lessons appropriately.
