Personal Description:

I’ve been studying music since I was 16 on an educational level. Since starting in 2012 I’ve picked up a few things and explored into certain areas of music that I found interesting on the way, in my MA music production, I studied different ways producers got their clients to create the music they did in the studio, and what skills they required to allow it to happen. I hope to bring all of this knowledge into my teaching.

Tutoring Experience:

Although my teaching experience is small, I feel that is has been successful. After teaching kickboxing for several years I discovered that you can’t teach everyone the same way and it is good to figure out how certain people learn.

Tutoring Approach:

Music is about creativity, however I prefer it to be fun. Most people don’t want to sit there and learn scales, even high end musicians don’t want to do that. But what most people want to do is play along to their favourite songs then when they find something they like they might even start writing their own songs and that’s when certain theory could maybe help you. I introduce techniques when you start realising that you need them
