Personal Description:

I recently finished my studies at the Royal Academy of Music on the Master of Arts course. I previously graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2017 where I specialised in Cello performance. I have now been teaching students of all ages for over 7 years in both private and centre based contexts. Upon completing my undergraduate studies, I spent the year teaching privately as well as working for music services and teaching A Level music at a private centre. Besides teaching I also perform in various contexts and have experience in solo, chamber and orchestral performance including playing alongside the BBC Concert Orchestra, the orchestra of Welsh National Opera and BBC National Orchestra of Wales.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that every student is an individual and therefore all my lessons are tailored to each student. With music tuition, I usually teach following the graded examination system to provide students with attainable goals and achievements. However, I realise that this isn't appropriate for everyone and make sure I take the student's needs into consideration. The most important thing is that the lessons are enjoyable and fun and that every lesson provides the student with a feeling of achievement.
