Personal Description:
I'm 21, and I'm looking to put my recently obtained Piano Diploma (ATCL) to some good! At the moment I'm looking to take on some adult students, beginners welcome. I also play the trumpet, drums, and guitar, and love listening to and making music of all styles.

Tutoring Approach:
I encourage musical creativity by teaching an understanding of the music being played. Reading music is very helpful when learning something technically difficult, but often students aren't encouraged to really listen and understand what they're playing, and end up getting bored of just reading blobs on a page. I like to ask questions like: What's strange here? Why do you think the composer did that? Do you see any patterns here? What did they change? Why?
