Personal Description:
Hello :)
My name is James and I have been a pianist my whole life. Despite training as an aerospace engineer, I have maintained a passion for piano. I play at a post grade 8 level and have experience teaching in schools. I have a beautiful Yamaha U3 piano at my house which is more than suitable for lessons :D I’m very laid back and keen to teach in a way that suits the student, from serious to fun!
Tutoring Experience:
I am currently an engineer but have worked in schools mainly teaching maths and physics however have developed teaching techniques in these areas that I am keen to implement in music. I have full crance to work with young people and do a lot of charity work :)
Tutoring Approach:
Fun fun fun! I was deterred from music as a child because it was not fun. This is a crime, that’s the sole purpose of music!!
