Hello! I'm Glyn :)
I have been playing and teaching guitar for over 25 years. I have experience performing original music, playing in cover bands, doing session work, playing a wide variety of genres of music, and performed as a solo artist for many years.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught all ages, abilities and genres of music. I teach acoustic and electric, beginners to advanced, in all styles of popular music.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Popular Music Studies from The University of Sheffield, and I am a Registered Guitar Tutor at London College of Music.
Tutoring Approach:
I take a relaxed and friendly, rather than overly formal or academic approach to my students, and tailor the lessons for each individual, adapting the tutoring process to meet their specific needs, learning style and musical aspirations.
I can offer lessons from my home in Coventry, or provide online tuition via Zoom.

Glyn has pitched the lessons at exactly the right level and has a clear understanding of what Amy wants to get from the sessions. They have a relaxed approach to Amy’s learning and it is clearly helping Amy’s development as a singer, guitarist with her band. Amy has learnt a lot in short space of time but never feels pressured by Glyn and always looks forwards to the sessions. She alway comes away feeling really pleased with what the progress they have made. It is important to me that Amy has fun through learning and is made to feel comfortable. Glyn has been great for her.
