Personal Description:

I am a musician living in London. Educated in violin performance, I play in orchestras and numerous chamber groups. I am interested in composing for films and video-games, mixing electronic sounds with self-recorded acoustic violin and vocal tracks.

As a violinist, I played with several orchestras (London Philharmonic Orchestra, Southbank Sinfonia, l'Opéra Royal Château de Versailles, Sinfonia Varsovia, London Contemporary Orchestra and International Philharmonic Orchestra in New York) in venues across the world, including Carnegie Hall (as a leader of Second Violins), Musikverein in Vienna, Beijing Concert Hall, Shanghai Oriental Art Centre, Barbican Center and Royal Festival Hall in London, Tokio International Forum, Chateâu de Versailles, Notre Dame de Paris. As a soloist, I have performed with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, Southbank Sinfonia in Cadogan Hall and Podkarpacka Philharmonic Orchestra. I am a prizewinner of the Young Paganini International Violin Competition. As a result of winning the Debut with Orchestra competition, I performed Glasunov Violin Concerto at the I graduated in both violin and vocal studies at the Artur Malawski Music School in Przemyśl. Later on, choosing violin performance as the main core of my musical education, I studied at the Academy of Music in Cracow. My recent education includes doctoral studies at Warsaw Chopin University of Music with prof. Janusz Wawrowski and an Artist Diploma Course with prof. Louise Hopkins at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.

Tutoring Experience:

I started playing the violin when I was 5 years old, and throughout my musical education I've been extremely lucky to study with generous teachers and masters. They not only passed on the knowledge of the violin technique, but also sparked my musical imagination and taught me how to listen to, understand and perform music from different ages of history. Over twenty years after beginning this path, it is humbling to realise how much I received from my teachers that shaped me as a musician, and this inspires in me the desire and joy to give this knowledge back to younger generations of violinists.

Over the past years, I approached music education from both a theoretical and practical point of view. During my time at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, United Kingdom, I attended the Teaching Skills Course. It helped me to understand the many mechanisms of a performer’s thought processes and, consequently, to adjust my teaching method to each student. In 2016, being a member of Southbank Sinfonia enabled me to gain experience working with instrumentalists, mentoring young musicians at Glyndebourne, Vaughan Memorial School and Thomas's Battersea School. In 2014, I graduated in Pedagogical Studies at the Academy of Music in Cracow (2014). This diploma included psychology, pedagogy, didactics, voice projection, violin teaching methods and an internship at a music high school as a Violin Teacher.

Among my recent teaching experiences, I gave masterclasses at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music, working with musicians of the Penderecki Youth Orchestra. During the same period, I taught musicians of the NOR59 Strykeinstitutt Orchestra in Oslo. As a part of my Phd Studies, since 2018 I have been tutoring violin students at the Warsaw Chopin University of Music.

Tutoring Approach:

I am experienced in teaching both children and adults and can tailor programmes to different kind of goals - ABRSM exams, technical courses or playing just for fun!
