Personal Description:

I am a recent graduate from the Guildford School of Acting I have a lot of experience with Music and have gained ABRSM Grade 7 Flute and Grade 8 Singing. I also have Grade 5 Music Theory, as well and A* at GCSE level Music. Further to this, I have a Diploma from the London College of Music in Singing/Musical Theatre. I have a 100% success rate at ABRSM exams, but still like to encourage people of all ages to play and sing for fun!

Tutoring Experience:

I have nearly 8 years of teaching experience of all ages. I have taught children and adults during this time and thoroughly enjoy helping people develop their talents.

Tutoring Approach:

In my opinion music should be fun. Whether you are preparing for exams or just learning a new skill, you should have fun doing it! I like to focus on tone colours and finding the story behind the music that my students are playing/singing. I find that this not only lets my students use their imagination, but also means that their pieces sound more exciting and engaging. I also have lots of exercises to help make technical essentials like scales more fun to learn. I can change my teaching style to suit the student in front of me, depending on their individual needs and learning style.
