Personal Description:

I am a professional singer with over 25 years' teaching experience, as well as special expertise in French vocal music. I hold three music degrees, have sung in numerous operatic productions and vocal recitals in the UK and in North America. I also lead singing masterclasses at Morley College in London as well as in France. I work with students of all ages and levels, teaching a solid and safe vocal teachnique and working with singers' imagination for emotion and communication.

Tutoring Experience:

Own singing studio for over 25 years.
In Canada: McGill Conservatory of Music in Montreal.
In the UK: Abbots Bromley School for Girls, Repton School, City Lit and Morley colleges, London (various singing workshops and masterclasses), Cratoule Summer Singing School, France (2017-19).

Tutoring Approach:

I aim to create a positive environment, where learning is encouraged and confidence grows.
All lessons are tailored to the individual student, their age, level of experience and goals.

I feel it is essential to work on vocal technique for control and beauty, and also for the health of the voice. I am also passionate about the words we sing, and I help students be inspired and moved by the poetry. Good diction is also important to communicate with the audience. Above all, I want singers to frow to enjoy their own voice and their singing.
