Information About Christopher - Roehampton teacher

Personal Description:

I am a french-american classically trained violinist. I recently obtained my Master's degree from the Royal College of Music in London, where I studied with great teachers such as Radu Blidar, Berent Korfker and Maciej Rakowski. I am extremely passionate about teaching and able to do so from beginner level to advanced playing.

My rate is 50£/h, I am willing to offer the first lesson.

- Workshop leader of "How do you practice?" at the Royal College of Music

Tutoring Approach:

I have been teaching for several years, and I always enjoy taking on new students as I am very interested in the process of learning. I have noticed over the years that we all have very different ways of processing new information. My area of expertise is classical violin, but I also teach improvisation. I think that it is very encouraging to be able to play your instrument even if you are not yet an expert in note reading. It will help you develop your listening skills and also stimulate your creativity.
