Personal Description:
I have been living in Glastonbury for 7 years, having moved here from the Bath area.
I am recently retired, but wish to continue my involvement with music and particularly piano/keyboard
tuition.
Tutoring Experience:
I first started teaching piano in 1980 and from that point on, built up a busy practice at my studio.
My pupils were both adults and children of all ages.
For those interested, I would offer preparation for ABRSM exam grades, but many pupils were happy just to learn
to read music.
Tutoring Approach:
I am very flexible in my approach to piano teaching.
I believe everybody wants to have fun learning and I try to make the lessons enjoyable.
I am still helping pupils to achieve exam grades, but for some, this may be daunting.
I let the pupils/parents decide and take it from there.

I appreciate your kind comments.
I’m a shift worker so usually find it difficult to plan ahead or start any new courses. Luckily Chris is really understanding and accommodating ,working around my rotas allowing me to continue learning and would happily recommend him as a fine tutor who is an amazing and talented pianist.
