Personal Description:
I'm a British teacher who is offering piano lessons to beginners, intermediate, and advanced students (up to a maximum of Grade 8 level). I have experience playing instruments, mainly the piano and guitar, for over twenty years.
Tutoring Experience:
My teaching experience has mostly been with language teaching, so I am new to teaching piano, but I'm looking forward to working with new students and helping them to further their knowledge and love of music.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to teaching would be to understand what your goals are on the piano and what you enjoy about music. The lessons would then be based around developing your skills in the areas you find most fulfilling and worthwhile. This could involve doing piano exams, or it could be focused on learning specific repertoire or skills.
If you are interested in doing exams, then I would help you to plan and prepare for these.
