Personal Description:

Hi, I am a Senior Examiner for Rockschool and hold undergraduate, Masters and Doctoral degrees in music. I am a guitar & vocal specialist who has done session work, live performance and original recording all over the world. I believe music should be first and foremost fun, but with progressive learning to engender a sense of development and personal satisfaction in the student.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that lessons should balance the essential elements of music, including songs/repertoire, technique, aural work, theory and reading music, and structure my lessons to both meet the needs of the student and encompass these. I am a motivational and inspiring teacher who very much enjoys working with motivated students who want to achieve.
