Information About Benny - Coventry teacher

Personal Description:

I have been playing the trombone for 14 years since I was 5. My expertise area is classical music. Currently I study in the University of Warwick. I have won numerous awards and prizes, including prizes in Music Festivals in Hong Kong and the winner of Music Bursary in the University of Warwick. I also have conducting experience in my secondary school, so apart from helping students to improve technically I can also help them to have better understanding on the music they play. I passed the ABRSM Grade 8 exam in 2004 and I am capable of tutoring students up to this level.

Tutoring Experience:

Being the student in charge of the music department ion my secondary school, I have helped many younger students in music making. I also had lessons with a student in Hong Kong in 2010 and he passed his Grade 3 exam with merit.

Tutoring Approach:

Depending on students' aims, I have different approach to it. For example, if students are aiming to pass a music exam, I will mainly focus on the areas where it will be examined. Otherwise, I would like to explore more music with the students.
