Personal Description:

I have started learning piano at the age of eight. After graduating from secondary school, I developed a career in music and received my Master of Arts (Music) at the Hong Kong Baptist University. I have attained Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM) in Piano, Licentiate of Trinity College London (LTCL) in Piano with Distinction, Diploma of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (DipABRSM) in Piano, Associate of Trinity College London (ATCL) in Piano and Associate of Trinity College London (ATCL) in piano accompaniment with Distinction. I am honored to have studied with renowned teachers such as Ms Grace Lau Lively-Stones, Ms Carol Yu and Dr. Cheng Wai.

I have a great enthusiasm in piano music. No matter solo, duet or accompaniment, I always shows my willingness and passion for piano music. I was also involved in leading ensembles at both junior and secondary levels, running elderly choirs and organising annual concerts for my piano students. This experience in a range to settings has been invaluable in raising my awareness of the need to cater for learner diversity. Over the years, I have developed a range of instructional techniques that has helped younger and older kids as well as adults to appreciate and engage in music. I am also capable of designing and implementing music curriculum for students for specific purposes and occasions.

I love teaching. I hope to instill a love of music in students and build their confidence. I believe that music is vital to forming connections as a universal language.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught piano over 18 years for all ages.
I was also involved in directing ensembles at both primary and secondary levels, running elderly choirs and organising annual concerts for my piano students.
