The Bromsgrove International Young Musicians Competition

The competition began 1981 as an international platform for talented young instrumentalists and singers between the ages of 17 and 25. Since then many outstanding finalists have found The Bromsgrove a stepping stone to national and international recognition and success.

Entries are now open for 2015's competition, welcoming instrumentalists and vocalists of all nationalities. You can apply online by filling out the application form.

Applicants are required to submit a list of not more than ten pieces they may wish to play during the Competition. Those pieces must include pieces of contrasting styles and periods. You can read the full list of rules and regulations, here. Entrants must be between the ages of 17 and 25 and could win one of the following fantastic prizes:

First Prize - £5,000 plus opportunities to perform at the Three Choirs Festival,. Second Prize - £3,000 Third Prize - £1,500 Fourth Prize - £500 President's Prize £1,000

Tickets are now available for supporters who wish to come along and watch. Available online at just £15 per ticket, inclusive of parking and a complimentary drink during the interval. Good luck!
