Personal Description:
I am a self employed qualified language tutor bringing up a bilingual child.I adore languages and feel that in todays world they are of exceptional importance.I hold a BA Joint Hons in Spanish and American Studies and a Delf B2 in French in addition to a PGCE Cert/Ed. I am based from my home classroom in Northampton form where i run Spanish and French Classes on a one one or small group basis. Sessions can also take place in a students home.
Teaching Experience:
I have been tutoring for 15 years. Prior to that i worked for the council in the Adult Education sector tutoring Spanish. In recent times I have started running primary school language clubs in Northamptonshire. I have worked abroad in Spain and spent considerable time in France for leisure and work. Through my experience i have tutored children from primary school age up to A level. have 15 years experience in GCSE and A level tutoring and am also an experienced GCSE examiner. In addition I have considerable experience in teaching adults, from complete beginners to advanced and i sculpt my lessons around individual needs whether for business, pleasure or academia.
Teaching Approach:
I am passionate about languages and they are an important part of our experience when we travel. I love the diversity of the students that come to me for tuition and thus cater around their individual needs to ensure that they meet and often exceed their language learning goals. Languages are all about communication and establishing that through a good rapport with students is key to ensuring success and enjoyment and thus it leads to dialogue about individual needs and requirements. I always ensure that students enjoy their language experience and feel that they can approach me with any question reference their learning.

GeorgiaFrom Maki (5/5): My daughter was looking for someone to give her some confidence in pre GCSE Spanish. Georgia has been always efficient with correspondence, on time, send prepared lesson documents in advance, and is very thorough in her lessons.

She has found Georgia’s lessons really helpful and we have already seen an improvement in her results since the beginning of the year. Georgia is very reliable and very easy to get on with which makes learning easier.

From Darren (/5): I really enjoy my lessons with Georgia. They are well structured and organised, the exercises are varied and interesting, the handouts and homework are excellent. For the first time I'm starting to feel confident that I could actually learn Spanish if I keep up my lessons. But most of all, the lessons fly by because they are fun and varied. I would highly recommend Georgia as a tutor.

From Ricky (/5): Amazing tutor. We have separate sessions for myself and my wife and then one for the kids. This is all in preparation for our move to Spain in the coming weeks. The collective improvement since being taught by Georgia has been really noticeable. Especially for the kids. Our son didn't really enjoy learning Spanish beforehand but Georgia makes the lessons fun and engaging. Highly recommend.

We were so pleased when we found Georgia (who came to the rescue!).Georgia focused on the areas of difficulty and the positive results soon became apparent with the progress made and her school teachers commented on a noticeable improvement. My daughter is very particular about teachers, and Georgia fits all the requirements, by making her work hard, however at the same time feel at ease.
