I love having my lessons with Ai, she’s a great tutor and makes things very easy to understand. She is patient and doesn’t rush you which is nice as there isn’t loads of pressure. I like that Ai creates homework for me to do outside lessons as well, I feel like through these lessons I’ve been learning faster than I thought I would be! I don't feel like I have a lot to say, its all been good so far. The lessons feel well paced and the way the learning is set out feels good, there is plenty of time to consolidate what you are going over between the exercises in lesson and the homework. Doing some reading practice at the end of each lesson has been helpful and is a good way to give an idea of progress as well as moving the learning away from just the textbooks.

What a lovely lady Manami is and so accommodating with us. She comes to my daughter's house every week to teach three of us. It is NOT an easy language (times 4 in 1 - you would understand this if you were learning Japanese) and we will be trying to get to grips with it for quite some time. I am going to Japan in September but will continue when I get back to try and understand what I actually experienced. Manami is very patient with us in our struggle with the language but 8 weeks is definitely not enough. We do have the books so can try and continue with our learning curve. My daughter is planning on travelling round Japan on her honeymoon next July so needs to know how to read and speak the language!! Manami has set us off on our travels with a good foundation. Very many thanks, girl! xxxx
