I was looking for a refresher course with a native speaker as my job entails working with many French people and it is somewhat embarrassing to expect them to speak English all the time. Laurence quickly assessed my capability and pitches the the lessons perfectly to my needs. My pronunciation has improved massively (according to my French colleagues) as well as my vocabulary and I feel much more confident in speaking the language thanks to Laurence's encouraging approach. I had my first lesson with Sofia today. I have ADHD (diagnosed this year at 51) and have a lot of anxiety about new ventures; learning in particular. Sofia was so kind, lovely and patient that the hour sped by without me panicking at all - even when I couldn't quite get the materials up on the screen all at the same time. I am now super keen to progress and have been working all day on learning my alphabet! I would recommend Sofia to anyone, especially learners who perhaps haven't had good experiences in the past.
