Personal Description:
My name is Zoe, I am currently Head of Languages at a state secondary school.
I am passionate about Languages and the importance of being able to communicate in another language.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching for almost 14 years, after retraining from working in advertising (a mid-life crisis!)
I am an extremely enthusiastic, innovative and committed teacher of languages, ensuring children and young people achieve their individual potential, helping them learn and become as passionate about languages as I am myself. I believe languages play a vital part in a broad and balanced curriculum, which opens children and young people's minds to new ideas and ways of looking at the world, develops life skills, general learning skills and awareness of how language works and without doubt increases job opportunities in the future.
Teaching Approach:
I take great care to make lessons interesting, enjoyable and engaging – but also teaching the building blocks of grammar in a fun way!
