Personal Description:

Hello. Welcome to my profile. My name is Victoria, and I teach English and Russian as foreign languages online.

Teaching Experience:

I have received my TEFL certificate in 2021, but I have been teaching English as a foreign language for almost three years. Even though my native languages are Russian and Latvian, I have lived in the UK for most of my life. Moreover, I have studied the intricacies of the English language for over 25 years.

Teaching Approach:

Expect to speak a lot. I am confident that the most effective way to learn a new language is to practise it as much as possible. We will discuss topics of your interest and won't dwell on dry grammar for too long. However, if the grammar is your personal favourite, I am happy to assist you with digging deep into those tenses and prepositions.
I offer a personal touch to all my students and develop a learning program that is most appropriate for each student's needs. Prior to their first lesson with me, each student must complete an English diagnostic test that measures their current level of English. A short needs analysis interview will also be conducted.
