Personal Description:

Hi there! I am a native Turkish speaker, based in Woking, Surrey.

I have recently graduated with a Master's degree in International Business Management, attaining first class degree, from highly respected University of Surrey. I have an outstanding academic background in business management with 6 years of education.

I am highly interested in Turkish and English literature which I read a lot.

Teaching Experience:

I recently started my own business at which I help British businesses and entrepreneurs research, analyse and eventually enter the Turkish market. During my conversations with my potential clients, I realised some of them were looking to develop effective communication tools to communicate with their Turkish customers or suppliers. Then, I started to teach some of my clients basic business conversations in Turkish.

Teaching Approach:

I like making learning process easy and fun. I believe any language is learned in real life situations. So, depending on the level of the tutee, I mostly speak Turkish with students to improve their listening skills. I like spending time with my tutees in real life ( if we have mutual trust and confidence among us) where we speak Turkish and they learn the language in a context by experiencing.

For me, in learning Turkish, repetition of most common Turkish words and real life conversations are the key. When my tutees reach a certain level in Turkish, I give them a book which they can read easily and then we discuss through the topics in the book. I found out that this method substantially improved the vocabulary and pronunciation of my tutees.
