Information About Štěpán - Glasgow teacher
This is how a referee rated Štěpán:
I am a teacher and a qualified public service translator/interpreter living in Glasgow, UK. In my spare time, I like hiking in the scottish wilderness, playing music and reading.
I have 5 plus years of experience teaching Czech and English to students of all levels and ages as well as a TEFL certificate for teaching English. I o hold a BA degree in English language and literature which provides me with a deep insight into the structure, functions and history of the language as well as most of the native cultures in the world, and a dual Master's in Irish and English Literature. Apart from teaching, I also work as a DPSI qualified interpreter in the public service and justice system.
I usually try to get to know the goals of the student and tailor the lessons to their specific needs. With beginners, I like to focus on learning some general phrases and basic pronunciation before delving into grammar structures. I like to use a varied scope of materials such as articles or films so that you can get a feel for how the language is actually used natively in real life context.
