Personal Description:

Born in Taiwan , native Mandarin speaker.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in education, and I was a piano teacher in an international school in Taiwan, so I know very well about Chinese culture and classical music . You can learn lots of interesting stories about this fascinating country with 5000 years of culture; thus you will not only learn Mandarin but also understand Chinese culture. (full DBS checked)

I've been teaching Mandarin for 10 years .

My students are from little as 5 years old to 70 years old !

I was looking for someone who would be able to teach younger primary school-aged children in an engaging manner and she is excellent. She is very thoughtful about planning lessons and specifically caters for their age, level and interests. My children love the songs and games and other motivational activities which Teresa includes in her instruction every week. Both of my children have already learned quite a bit in a relatively short period of time and I am impressed and delighted with their progress.
