This is how 2 referees rated Stephen:
A committed linguist with experience in the Civil Service, town twinning, education and commerce. Recently retired, I am married with three children. As a family, we have mastered seven languages. I have a wide range of interests and a lot of contacts.
I have taught languages in nursery school, at primary level, in secondary schools and to adults in industry.
Formerly Head of Sixth Form at a successful independent school where I was also responsible for UCAS applications.
Experienced GCSE and A Level examiner. Many successful re-sit up-grades. Most recent delighted student X moved from D grade at AS to a sound B at A2, securing her university place. Brilliant news!
I quickly identify needs, aspirations and preferred learning style. I then design and deliver a course around areas of interest. My aim is to achieve 100% engagement with my clients and this ensures excellent results. Language learning is no soft option, but it should be fun.

Will recommend to anybody looking for help with learning foreign languages like French
Stephen was always prompt and reliable, a brilliant tutor!
Lessons are fun and informative and Stephen has tailored the lessons to suit our requirements.
I look forward to the sessions, it is a shame I did not have a French teacher who could enthuse and inspire when I was 13!
