Information About Stefan - Tower Hamlets teacher

Personal Description:

I am the son of two teachers and grew up in Oxfordshire. I studied French, Spanish & European Studies at the University of Bath and am currently living and working in London. I have extensive experience working with a variety of people from different backgrounds and build rapport very easily. I am looking to carry on teaching to keep my skills sharp and also as it is something i genuinely enjoy.

Teaching Experience:

I was first exposed to English Language teaching at the age of 17 through a work experience at a local English Language school. After having completed my A level exams but before going to university I earned a CELTA and taught for five consecutive summers at a language school in Oxford. I also spend a year in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where I taught both in an institution and private 1-2-1 lessons. I have experience of teaching students of all levels and temperaments and tailor my approach accordingly. As a student of foreign languages myself I have a strong understanding of grammar and the fundamentals of language learning.

Teaching Approach:

I understand that different people learn in different ways and adapt my approach around the individual student. I have a laid back and relaxed nature and enjoy building rapport with my students. I feel that relaxed students learn best. I work hard with English Language learners to identify their needs and help them achieve their goals. I am personable, patient and very supportive.
