Personal Description:

I am enthusiastic about education and always strive to do the best for my students. I am able to take on responsibility for learning. I have experience of successfully managing a class and create innovative programs. I am a professional and qualified Italian teacher, but I have also an educational and professional strong background in social working, with a particular focus in “human rights” and “multiculturalism” and this help me to have a good approach with students come from every part of the word, respecting their culture and languages too.

Teaching Experience:

I have experience in teaching adult classes since three years ago. In the last year, due the pandemic situation, I gave lessons both in presence and in zoom platform, so I am comfortable using this tool to give lessons to my future students. My knowledge about this platform has developed also during the Teacher Training I have recently attended. I used to planning, preparing and delivering lessons for adult student groups at different levels, preparing teaching materials, teaching Italian Language and culture through art, music, cinema, food and gestures
I have experience in teaching children classes as Italian Teacher in a bilingual Polish-Italian kindergarten when I used to live in Poland. Here I had the possibility to plan, prepare and deliver Italian lessons to help pupils to improve their listening and speaking skills.

Teaching Approach:

Instead to emphasize ‘passive' skills like grammar and reading knowledge, I like to base my teaching approach in the development of specific ‘active' skills and capabilities. This enables me to capture listening and speaking skills, confidence and fluency, and a range of other measures that determine how effectively a learner will perform in a real-life context.
