Personal Description:
I completed my BA (Hons) in Modern Languages (French and Spanish) at Manchester Metropolitan University in June 2005. I spent 5 months in Nantes and 5 months in Castellón. I completed my PGCE in Modern Languages at Manchester Metropolitan University as well in June 2009. I love the grammar aspect of language learning and teaching and I enjoy using new technologies to enhance language learning and to allow access to authentic language resources and materials.
Teaching Experience:
I have worked in several different schools in a supply capacity, in primary, secondary and post-16 environments. I am currently teaching in a 11-18 school in the North-West of England, teaching French and Spanish. I have worked most extensively with the AQA GCSE Languages specification.
Teaching Approach:
I am passionate about independent learning and giving students the tools to express themselves with. I enjoy using new technologies to communicate and I enjoy teaching grammar which gives language learning a structure.
