Information About Ruth - Evesham teacher - (7 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Ruth:
I used to train primary and secondary school teachers at a local University, specifically in foreign language teaching, which I did for over 20 years. I speak and write French fluently but have a lot of experience working with people of all ages and am adaptable and understanding, as I understand the challenges of learning a foreign language. I have a good sense of humour, which helps me to be quite approachable as well.
I have been successfully teaching French from beginners to GCSE, A/S and A level, IB, as well as to degree level for nearly 30 years.
I like to set realistic targets that are attainable but that also challenge my students and am always enthusiastic about the learning process. I like to teach in an environment which is relaxed yet purposeful. I am interested in my students as individuals and tailor my teaching to suit different needs.

French can be a difficult language to make sense of when you first begin, especially if you have very little experience of the language as I did but Ruth is able to make the complex rules and strange quirks of French easy to understand and I have been making very good progress in a short space of time.
Overall I cannot recommend Ruth highly enough and look forward to continuing my progression through the language with her.
