Information About Raya - Brighton teacher

Personal Description:

I am a Jordanian whom has been living in England for the past 10 years. I am fluent in classical Arabic and English. I can teach beginner English to Arabic speakers or Beginner Arabic to English speakers. Having graduated with an International Baccalaureate Diploma I can extend my tutoring to specialised subjects and/or translating. Subjects include; Arabic literature, English Language, Math studies, Biology, Visual Arts and Islamic History.

I have a Degree in Illustration from the Arts University of Bournemouth and have been working in the events sector for the past six years.

I am happy to tutor adults and teenagers whom need basic levels of communication or translating.

If you are an Arabic speaking individual who has recently moved to the UK and require help in settling in and learning fast ways of picking up the English Language, I can help.

Teaching Experience:

I have private tutoring experience teaching basic Arabic to English speakers.

Teaching Approach:

My approach to teaching will depend on the individuals needs and preferred ways of learning. Before starting I would conduct a short interview discussing what the student hopes to learn and together find what method best suits them. I would assign homework between lessons and asses them on a weekly basis.
