Personal Description:

¡Hola! I am Patricia, an enthusiastic and friendly Spanish native speaker offering online Spanish-French lessons, to all levels and ages. I am currently working as a full-time MFL teacher at Archbishop Blanch School, a secondary school in Liverpool, UK.

I am a highly dedicated and goal-oriented MFL Teacher with over 10 years of experience in teaching Spanish and French, and a solid commitment to the academic growth and development of students. I have proven success in teaching and learning strategies, delivering curriculum design, and academic goal-setting.

A bit of my background, I am 29 years old and I was born in Cuenca, Spain. I graduated in Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures at Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, in 2016. I then decided to move to the United States to expand my experience abroad and I got my Master´s degree in Spanish Literature and Linguistics at Ohio University, where I also worked as a Spanish instructor for university students, and as an ESL instructor for adults until 2019. I then got my PGCE in MFL and QTS at John Moores University, Liverpool in 2020. Since then, I have been working as a full-time MFL teacher in a secondary school in Liverpool.

Teaching my language and culture is my passion, and my enthusiasm will benefit your learning and interest in this beautiful language!

Teaching Approach:

I teach Spanish at all levels, although lessons are always tailored to your needs and interests. I can cover all fields needed: conversation, use of grammar, writing, listening, exam preparation, Spanish literature… )

I do believe it is paramount to bear in mind the language level I am entrusted with when teaching an individual student or a group, as well as the competency, skills, and knowledge corresponding to this level. This way we will be able to set the learning outcomes that students should achieve.

I offer online one-to-one tuition and group sessions:
-£ 30 p.h for a one-to-one tuition session.
-£ 25 p.h and person for group sessions.
