Information About Neda - Greenwich teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Neda:
I am a Bulgarian native speaker and proficient in German, English and Italian. I am a PhD student at Goldsmiths College in the Media and Communications department and live in London for four years.
I am passionate about teaching and am an open, patient and committed individual who enjoys communicating and working with different people.
I love traveling, learning new languages, reading contemporary literature and going to the cinema and art exhibitions.
I have seven years of experience in teaching in a Higher Education context to undergraduate students in the field of Media Studies, Cultural Studies, Philosophy and Politics.
In Sofia, Bulgaria, I have taught Bulgarian language to young learners (aged between 5 and 14) in an accommodation centre for asylum seekers.
I tailor the sessions according to the needs of tutees. When teaching languages, my approach is to help build up confidence in using the language orally and in writing. When working with a student who is preparing for an exam or is in an educational institution, my approach is to address the formal requirements while building up and strengthening the tutee's skills and knowledge to meet them. It is also important to transmit the interest for the taught subject as this is a major factor contributing to the motivation for learning.
