Personal Description:
I am a Spanish teacher with more than ten years of experience, both online and offline, teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
I come from a small little town in the North of Spain called Santander and I have been living in Bournemouth and working as a Spanish teacher/tutor for seven years.
I love helping people and I am passionate about teaching this beautiful language. One of my lovely students commented that I am “an excellent teacher with the patience of a saint! Teaching Experience:
With a Bachelor in Education and a University degree in Pedagogy and Educational Psychology, you will receive the best results from your Spanish studies.
These lessons are addressed to different levels, from beginners to advanced levels and they are tailored to the students´ needs and learning styles.
I have more than fifteen years of experience working as a private tutor one to one or small groups with different ages and needs.
I have extensive knowledge and skills in:

Teaching Approach:
My lessons are always fresh and fun. I have my own methodology based on the communicative method. All the activities are focused on improving oral, reading, listening and writing skills.
In every lesson, I employ various activities and all kind of exercises that help students understand the language better and get them interact in all my classes. They learn the context in which Spanish is spoken and improve on different topics.
Owing to my Spanish background, my students can take advantage of my native pronunciation and command of the Spanish language.

She is well prepared with card games and exercises to push you with making phrases to match the activity. She brings a positive energy to lessons and makes them really enjoyable. Really loving the lessons and looking forward to more

From Natalia (/5): Marta is a native speaker (from Spain) and an excellent Spanish tutor. She is very kind and pleasant, and makes the lessons both fun and challenging (e.g. Playing bingo to learn numbers, using flash cards for activities etc).
She's very good at adjusting the pace of the course to the learner's ability (slowing things down when they're difficult, and speeding through when they're easy).
She's also quite flexible with scheduling lessons, which was a massive help for me, and allowed me to finally start Spanish lessons with my chaotic working hours!
Marta sets relevant homeworks which we go through the next lesson - which help me expand my vocabulary, and aims to get the learner speaking as soon as possible (which is usually what people including myself struggle with the most!).

From Georgia (/5): Marta was brilliant at communicating with us before we took her on as my daughters tutor. We talked about her experience and methods of teaching which sounded brilliant. This is a 2nd tutor for my daughter as the first was not reliable. Marta has been a great communicator, efficient, reliable and most of all my daughter says she didn’t feel pressured, she is learning loads. She thinks her way of teaching is great, she has fun ways of teaching with games but still doing the necessary vocabulary and grammar. We would highly recommend her.

Each lesson is engaging and informative and I feel like I am making good progress week to week. Lessons are a good mixture of exercises and activities to learn and test new information and then general talking to improve conversational Spanish in a natural way. Thoroughly recommend this tutor!
